This is absolutely beautiful! The sky is really, really nice. When you can paint like this, who needs a super duper camera?
I don't see sad here (not invalidating YOUR feelings) because I see many gulls in that position and they seem to be hunting for food. And the sky is too luscious!!

Thank you! I may have taken the photo I worked from the day we were heading home from the beach. Maybe that's why I equate it with sad.
