Today I've been working from a photo of one of my trips to South Padre Island, Texas. I have laid down the undertones for the skin and blocked in most of the painting. I wanted the water to be very calm and peaceful as my tube floater lazed away the day and I'm happy with the result. I'm hoping to have this finished by the beginning of next week. I think I'm ready to call this finished. I may work on the hair more but I'm satisfied with everything else. I wanted nice tanned skin to reflect the beach vacation and calm water to set the mood.
