New Sketch 20" x16"
This is another in my bathing beauty series that I can't wait to get started on. I know it will be challenging but, I think she is going to be a lot of fun. I have almost finished another new wader painting except for a few facial fixes. I'm hoping to post her in the next day or so. Thanks for stopping by.

"Lazy Day" Revised
Today I've been working from a photo of one of my trips to South Padre Island, Texas. I have laid down the undertones for the skin and blocked in most of the painting. I wanted the water to be very calm and peaceful as my tube floater lazed away the day and I'm happy with the result. I'm hoping to have this finished by the beginning of next week. Thanks for stopping by.
I think I'm ready to call this finished. I may work on the hair more but I'm satisfied with everything else. I wanted nice tanned skin to reflect the beach vacation and calm water to set the mood.

Go To Sea Young Man Framed
Managed to get a few paintings framed to see how they would look in the barnwood frames my guy made me. I like the look. Thanks for looking.

Birds, Birds, Birds
Another of my favorite subjects to photograph are birds. Now that I have my long range lens I am able to take much better pictures of birds in flight. I was very excited to capture the images of the egrets in flight. These guys hang out at a local park not far from my home. Thanks for looking.

Looking for Longhorns
So, I sallied forth yet again today looking for the longhorn beasties. I have to admit I am fascinated by their amazing range of colors. The Mama at the bottom was not happy with me taking a picture of her calf. Thanks for looking.

Trusty Camera In the Pursuit of Cows
One of the reasons I have been going out on drives in the country with my camera has been in the search of Texas Longhorns to take pictures of. I did finally find one but I also found some other interesting characters along the way. A few don't look that happy with me taking their picture. The last shows a bit of the Texas countryside. Thanks for looking.
